I was sitting in a bike shop in the Alps, sipping on cold beer after a few hours of what felt like 100F mountabiking through Alpine forests and meadows. J-Bay surfing final between Mick Fannig and Julian Wilson has just started. and the. Tired, relaxed…almost in a zen like state and some top level surfing. Only thing better would be watching it after a surf session. And then suddenly a huge shark fin appears just behind Mick and WTF?!?! I am just watching Mick get eaten by a shark? Is this really going on??
