Rasta (David “Rasta” Rastovich) got his signature fin with Future Fins. Black Rasta Fin is called Vector Rasta Keel and is sporting a white “so popular these days” skull and a Sea Shepherd sign. Why? Rasta will be donating 100% of his signature Vector Rasta Keel royalties to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and Future Fins will contribute the same amount for every fin sold.
Sea Shepherd?
Sea Shepherd was founded in 1977 by Paul Watson. Paul was by the way also co-founder of Green Peace. Sea Shepherd is all about protecting marine wildlife focusing on big ocean animals. They fight whaling in Antarctic waters, they fight long lining and shark finning in the Galapagos Islands, and they fight the Canadian seal slaughter. How do they do that you might ask? They will be there when you try to spear your next whale, they’ll take your picture, document everything and expose your illegal activities – Investigating violations – Enforcing laws – Protecting marine wildlife worldwide.
