Body Glove ECO wetsuit

It is nice to see that the eco aspect of the bussines in no longer just a stone around the neck but an opportunity for environmentally aware companies to get an edge over their competitors. This is especially true in the world of outdoor sports where do not destroy what you came to enjoy was born. Now Body Glove has launched a new wetsuit for people involved in water sports that like to call themselves green - Body Glove ECO wetsuit.

Body Glove is one of the companies that already has some history in being environmentally aware.  Their new  Body Glove ECO wetsuit is the next addition to their ECO line. Body Glove ECO line includes ECO life vest, that was was the first environmentally friendly U.S. Coast Guard approved, personal flotation device.

Body Glove ECO wetsuit 

Body Glove ECO wetsuit is made of  their own signature BIO-stretch rubber and ECO-flex exterior. The BIO-stretch rubber and ECO-flex materials are non-petroleum based and 100% environmentally friendly. These two materials create the purest non-toxic stretch material available today. Producing these two ECO-friendly materials only consumes 1/10th the amount of energy required to produce the standard petroleum based wetsuits. The ECO wetsuit is a smarter, greener, and cleaner choice for the environment. - it is the first environmentally friendly wetsuit.

Body Glove wetsuit sponsored rider Bruce Irons is already wearing one in the ads, but average Joe will be able to "get ecological" from July of 2007 on.

The Body Glove ECO men's models:

• 4/3 mm fullsuit and
• 3/2 mm fullsuit.

What is so ECO about the Body Glove ECO wetsuit and other features:

• the wetsuit exterior is 100% ECO flex throughout,
• the interior of the ECO wetsuit is 100% non-petroleum calcium carbonate closed cell foam rubber,
• all the graphics are printed with organic water ink,
• the zipper on the exterior pocket key holder are made from recycled plastic,
• the Vaporlock seams minimize water seepage,
• the interior floodgate helps keep the rider dry,
• the super stretch flex kneepads add to the maneuverability of the wetsuit and surfer.
