I took a day off to go to the island, did a little exploring before the swell arrived, waited a bit more on the spot for the waves to pick up and then went in. This spot sometimes gets really crowded, but not this time. Only a few windsurfers and a couple of local surfers. Still there was a nasty windsurfing accident, I really hope the guy is ok. Waves were picking up throughout the day and were okay, but with lots of wind until the rain started. Rain calmed down the wind and suddenly the waves were more organized, steeper, breaking further down the point. It got really good! 4 or 5 hours later I had enough.
