Two months ago we said this is not a place to surf in winter. Two months later with a flood of snow photos from back home we were again on the beach, our faces turned into the cold wind coming down from snow capped mountains of Velebit. Saturday session was sick, up to 1.5m beachbreak waves, good for turns and smacking the lip before closeout. Saturday morning was smaller amd colder so after a short session it was time to go home.
