Photo Tuesday: Burning Sky And Night Snow MTB

MTB Night Shot
MTB night profile shot

This photo is from my first winter and snow MTB session. We bike through most of the winter if the weather is fine and not to cold or if we can escape to the hills close to the sea. But this was the first time we went out in snow. It was early December snow, first one around our city, 20-30cm of fresh dry powder on hard frozen ground. Perfect for a few powder turns. We got so excited and loved it so much we did two runs instead of one. At the top of the trail we took a few profile photos and this is one of them. The lights from the city illuminated the fog that keeps us in the gray for most of the winter and the result was this dark orange sky. In reality the sky was only mildly orange but the long exposure exaggerated it (no Photoshop).
