The forecast was looking good, not huge but like solid, when you don’t have to check it every hour to see if it changed, downgraded and the sea will be flat. A no stress forecast. So it was a bit weird when Saturday was flat, but it was cool to rest a bit after the Sicily trip. By saying weird…what is even weirder is that this spot works at all haha… it has like 20km of fetch. But if Sunday would be a letdown as well that would suck. Luckily Sunday was super fun, we surfed from morning till noon, the wind was cold but the water is still pretty warm so sticking your hands into the sea was like putting them in your down jacket pockets :), water color here is so sick and northern wind brings that crisp crystal clear air, where everything is super sharp.
