It’s crazy how this spot even exists. It’s crazier that with the short fetch and gale force winds it can actually get almost glassy. And it’s the craziest when this happens in the middle of summer, like it did last Sunday. When I throw in warm water and noon boardshorts session this has to be the best day of surfing at this spot ever. It still might not look like much on the global wave quality scale, but for a surf spot with 20km of fetch its epic. Especially after a long flat spell that work and not being able to catch a few small ripples now and then made even longer. Felt good to be back in the sea and waves.
