Friday was pretty good with solid lines coming from the south and only light winds, a really nice session. Saturday began with 6am dawn patrol intentions that turned into laying in bed till 10am waiting for the wind to drop. It did not, but we were tired of waiting and went into the water anyways. Surfed NOA for almost 2 hours when the wind turned. It turned in the direction that means only one thing – the best looking wave in the Adriatic sea will probably be on! And it was… this wave is not that good to surf, it is actually very short and very sketchy, but it sure makes for great photos and it has a real ocean feel to it. Just the sets make it to the spot, slowly building and the breaking over shallow razor sharp rock ledge.
