#32: You Should Have Been Here Tomorrow

Among the second covid-19 wave and new lockdowns different kind of waves again blessed our local Adriatic sea. Another south wind forecast promised two days of surf with the second day being possibly as sick as the last two sessions (this one and this one) or possibly destroyed by west wind and just really small. But, if you are looking for solid size and glassy conditions here in the Adriatic, don’t expect to make much money betting on them. Even the most stellar forecasts can turn to crap. And usually there is no vice versa. Crappy forecasts just remain crappy. If there is wind in the forecast it does not miraculously disappear, it stays there.

Anyway, due to work obligations we could only hit he waves Monday afternoon. It was classic. Meaning medium wind strength and solid sized waves that allowed you to find some diamonds in the rough. I got lucky and had a really really really good session. And with the clear blue skies and evening sunset session even the conditions could be described as above average. Back home and to work and then the next day photos hit. Solid size and again, glassy?! Damn :)
