I was thinking.... is how my buddy Luggy started our fb chat conversation at 14:15 that quickly escalated into us packing our surf shit and driving south towards the sea a good 45 minutes later.
"You know it's probably going to be flat?" is how the conversation started when we started driving. Unfortunately, the so wished for bump in the forecast that persuaded us to drive there didn't come through. Fortunately that unbumped 1-2ft waves still gave us a couple of fun right over the urchins rides.
Wild garlic or onions or something. And lots of nude people. These are the two things that you notice when you get to the beach.
The sunset after the session was pretty epic. It always is when there is a big weather change coming. Back home it was all thunderstorms and record number of lightning strikes.
Usually quick photo snaps from the speeding vehicle turn into crap, but my fraction of a second ninja take-camera-from-backpack-point-and-shoot move resulted into quite pleasing photo of a sunflower field on our way to Italy for another summer session.
Longboards overdose and only rare set waves gave me some interesting photo opportunities.
Some guys were styling, some were flailing and some were wearing speedos. Yup, that's summer surf in Italy.
Surfing in Italy.
That's surf day #59 this year.
Three surfers suffering from stoke overdose from 2-3ft waves.
Does this count as a selfie?
I don't usually go to McDonalds, but when my friends were both like "Lets go to MD!!!", I stuffed my face full of overly dry chickenburgers.
Sunburned, tired, salty hair, driving home. Fun times.
