The BIG WAVE awards ceremony is finished and the winners and surfers of this years biggest waves were announced. The cream of the cream goes to Californian surfer Ken “Skindog” Collins from Santa Cruz. His Puerto Escondido green mega bomb barrel got him first place in both the Ride Of The Year category and at the Monster Tube category.

The biggest barrel of the year rolled over Puerto Escondido sandbank in June 2006. And the result looked something like this:
