The new surf flick from Globe just rolled on to the shelves and it’s called New Emissions Of Light And Sound. Like their award winning surf film Secret Machine (released 2006) it’s a bit different from your average surf movie and so is different their introduction to the movie. Since we are not capable of such blah blah, we are giving you the Globe version:
This dreamlike and texturally sound-scaped film is a vast departure from other film releases trickling into the surf world. Featuring the superior surfing of Globe riders Taj Burrow, CJ Hobgood, Yadin Nicol, Nathan Webster and Damien Hobgood, NEW EMISSIONS is a deeper exploration into mind bending cinematography that captures what it is to be a surfer in new and transcendent ways. Get lost in this trip. Sit back, relax, and open your mind. It’s going to be a nice ride…. The audio is unlike anything ever used in a surf film to date. A surreal tickling of the eardrums, slowly builds throughout the entire film to a climactic orgy of aural delight.
If you become Globe surf movie fan after that, also grab Somewhere Anywhere Everywhere (released 2004). But first – New Emissions Of Light And Sound Trailer:
