We like reviewing products from DryTide:) and this time they launched a new waterproof bag that is meant to protect your phone and/documents from water. This waterproof phone bag will keep your phone dry down to 30 meters under the sea surface. so even if your phone is waterproof, this case can add that extra layer of bulletproof protection that you need in really wet environments. Now, before I begin, I would like to say that I tested the bag only in water maybe 1m deep, a deeper dive is planned in the future, when the water gets warmer. But it looks like this bag can take it.
It closes with TWO zip locks that are then folded and secured so it seems highly unlikely that any water can come inside, of course, if you are careful when closing the bag.
This is how the bag looks. It has a window in the back for camera lenses and big one in front for the touch screen. Yes, the touch screen works when your phone is inside the bag so you can send messages, browse, listen to the music, post on social media, make calls, check the weather and take photos and videos. The only problem I had was that the proximity sensor kept reporting that the mic is covered, but there is a simple was to disable this in settings and then everything works without a problem. The bag is big enough for I would say any phone on the market except the phablet sized ones.
Bag also comes with a strap so you can carry it around your neck for hands free use. It looks really nice and I can see it will be perfect for sea kayaking trips, surfing boat trips etc…
