Burton Snowboards showed us some goodies that will be released in the next season. The third innovation in line is Smooth Ride – a new snowboard dampening technology.
Smooth Ride
Smooth Ride is a new snowboard dampening technology from Burton Snowboards. As this was only a press release we do not know what is the deal here, more rubber :) ? Well, Smooth Ride takes the bite off the board so riders can ride faster and for a longer time without getting tired. Quicker reactions, bigger airs, faster rides and – less impact on the body. Chatter, vibrations and the shock from flat landings get absorbed by the board before they even make it to your bindings.
Smooth Ride Snowboard
Smooth Ride will be at first available only on Burton’s 2008 T6 snowboard. The new Smooth Ride dampening technology will be available at Burton Snowboards retailers around the world in August this year (2007).
