The spot that never works didn't work. Surprise.
The alarm clock went off at 5:04 in the morning but we were delayed by the threesome stories during breakfast.
We didn't miss much though. The usual spot was out of control, the spot that never works was flooded by extremely high water.
And we were just in time to catch a sick sunrise.
Ok, lets start at the beginning without skipping two days of surfing. Friday afternoon, NOA, 3 guys out, waisthigh.
Stalkers.
After the session it was go time for the boat. Saturday was sicker and sicker as the day turned into evening. No wonder I spent 6 hours in the water.
Then Sunday morning we were greeted by the sun. And not the usual hole in the clouds sun, but full on burned faces not a cloud in sight blue sky. This NEVER happens when there is surf around here.
And we were also greeted by big lines and crazy currents.
So we waited a little bit.
This is the best feeling. When after the surf the is sun and warmth instead of usual rain, wind, and clouds. When the only muscle that still works is your tongue and you sit in the sun and talk about the waves.
And drip dry your wetsuits :).
