The forecast looked pretty ordinary. Even worse than ordinary. Bordering on will the be waves or not on the west coast. A slight change in angle of the wind swell direction and even 3m waves can miss the west coast spots completely. It happened. But what followed was the best session on this spot for me so far. The size and almost no wind were perfect for fun peeling rights, making turns, speeding down the line, taking photographs, dropping the camera to the ground, shattering the skylight filter etc… Fun times.
Two days later the forecast was again dropping by the day and again it was quite possible that the waves will suck. But again, especially Saturday, the waves were really fun and not much wind. I managed to remove the shattered filer from the lens and we took some sick photos from the cliffs. Sea color is always crazy here. I surfed the right point just under the cliffs, I was always looking at this wave, but it never seemed big enough. This time I got a couple of fun ones.
