#30-32: West Coast of Italy Madness

After a week of mountain biking in Finale Ligure it was time to slowly head back home. BTW, I’m not sure what’s up with Finale Ligure and the town where we were staying, Finalborgo, but everyone is just so nice. From people in the shuttle service (thumbs up for Finale Bikers) to people in the restaurants, people in the camping ground, the bike repair shop guy… it’s really nice to be there and feel welcomed. What was also welcomed was a detour on the way back when a sick surf forecast popped up. Friday was supposed to be super big and windy down in Tuscany, so we stopped in Varazze instead. Sunny and almost without a wind, even if it was small, the peak was working as I remember it from the past. I has been a while since I surfed here. I had no idea how to surf then, so I got a few more waves this time haha but not without having some talk with the locals. I also cut my feet on the rocks on the inside.

Next two days we went further south to Tuscany. It was pretty crowded there as well, but the waves, the waves were firing. One of the best conditions I have every seen, and I have seen quite a lot of them for a guy that lives 550km away haha. But let the photos speak for themselves.
