Apart from the late evening peak that appeared next to a Jesolo jetty and delivered some fast and steep takeoffs the first day was nothing to write home about. But late night drive to the spot under the pine trees, the smell of pine forest, the early morning sun...

Next day it was time to hit Italy again. Gale force bora winds, closed bridges and roads on the east side of the Adriatic promised a solid sized session behind the 4km long pier of Marina di Ravenna.

Rimini dawn patrol was not very impressive. Here is the Cioggia team looking not very impressed. One latte macchiato later wind turned offshore, sun came out, waves turned on and cosplay characters started parading through the parking lot.

In the last 4 days I covered the distance from my house to the nearest ocean and it feels like I was away for 2 weeks. All I have to say is: “City of Marina di Ravenna, PLEASE install a few showers on your beaches.” Anyone standing even near the sea around Ravenna will know why. Yuck!
