Review: MIRA Breeze R Polarized Sports Glasses

Polarized sunglasses review

I am constantly outside. It does not matter if it is sunny, cloudy, raining or snowing. Personally I don’t always wear glasses although I know this is a wise thing to do. Harmful UV rays can in the long term harm your eyes. I usually use sunglasses when driving in the sun or when the sun is really really strong and there is lots of glare like on the sea (stand up paddling) or on snow. When snowboarding I usually use goggles and same goes when I go mountain biking. I like the feel of the extra protection that goggles give you. But I do have lots of friends that use sport style sunglasses for this, especially for mountain biking. So when I got my hands on a pair of polarized sport sunglasses caller Mira Breeze R I was eager to try them.

MIRA Breeze R Polarized Sports Glasses

The yellow tinted lens

MIRA Breeze R Polarized Sports Glasses feature polarized lenses that are immaculately clear and have a full UV400 protection against harmful UV rays. They will keep the sun, wind, and dust out of your eyes while you are out there enjoying your outdoor activities. These glasses are great for outdoor sports like cycling, kiteboarding, fishing, golf, hiking, volleyball, hockey, riding, basketball, driving, motorcycling, running, racing, skiing, trekking, and more… The lenses are yellow tinted which is a standard color for these kind of sport sunglasses. Everything looks really positive this way :).

They are also very tough, the TR90 frame is durable and scratch-proof so you don’t have to worry if you accidentally drop them. I intentionally and unintentionally dropped them a few times and they survived without a problem although when dropped from bigger heights the lenses can jump out of their sockets so you have to insert them back. The frame is also very flexible, especially the rubberized part that goes over the ears so you don’t have to worry if you squeeze them a bit in your luggage, jacket pocket or stretch them when putting them on. Just to be safe, they off course come with a hard shell case for transport and protection. The case also has a karabine so you can attach it to your backpack or belt.

On the other hand, despite being sturdy, the sunglasses are very light. They are so light you will almost forget you have them on. Rubberized earpiece and nose pads make them comfortable to wear and also prevent them from slipping off even when you are sweaty. To be extra safe there is also a retainer strap that you can put on the glasses and around your neck.

Now when I have mentioned almost everything you get in the package, here is the full list: MIRA Breeze R Polarized Sports Glasses, hard case, black cloth, black pouch bag, polarization test card, and glasses retainer strap.

The whole package: sunglasses, hard case, soft pouch bag, cleaning cloth, retainer strap, test card.
